Property Description
If you’ve ever dreamed of living in the perfect-picture, chocolate-box cottage – this is the property for you. Sitting centrally in a cottage garden with rambling roses to the front, wouldn't your heart skip a beat as you drive up to this perfect Grade II listed cottage?
Tucked down a no-through-road just a few minutes drive from Tenbury Wells with only a scattering of neighbouring properties, this small but perfectly formed property puts you in the heart of the country with endless open countryside to explore.
The Old Green Cottage has been sympathetically brought up to date with its country cottage chic interior and landscaped gardens creating a cosy place to live.
The ground floor is filled with character and includes a beautiful oak-surround fireplace and wood burning stove creating a feature point of the sitting room. A perfect cottage kitchen, dining room, utility and downstairs shower room complete the ground floor.
A twisting staircase leads to the landing, off which comes the master bedroom and family bathroom. A further doorway leads to a study/ bedroom with a step leading up to an attic room with restricted headroom making a great, quirky additional room.
Outside: To the front, an extensive driveway with ample parking accommodates two sheds, raised kitchen garden beds and flagstone paths. To the rear, you will find a gravelled seating area, steps to an archway, behind which lies an extensive lawned area with a number of flower borders, ornamental well and feature garden pond.
Area: Knight-on-Team is a pretty village amidst unspoilt surrounding countryside. A short, 10-minute drive away is Tenbury Wells which has a bustling high street of independent shops, cafes, bakeries, supermarket and cinema.
